TAD staffs two ambulances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ambulances are based out of our two ambulance stations located on the east and west ends of Trinidad. All our ambulances are staffed with Advanced Life Support (ALS) meaning we have, at a minimum, one Paramedic on every ambulance thus providing the highest level of emergency care possible to our community.  In addition to two 24-hour ambulances we have a third ALS crew on-call daily within 15 minutes of the station in the event of an emergency.

Our emergency medical services and education teams offer over 60 combined years of in-hospital and pre-hospital experience.   We partner with quality organizations like the National Registry, American Heart Association, Saint Mary Corwin Hospital and Colorado Community College System which includes Trinidad State Junior College and Pueblo Community College to offer excellent educational opportunities to help meet the needs of our employees and community.

The Rescue Task Force (RTF) and Joint Agency Tactical Team (JATAC) are joint agency, first responder teams that train together to provide the most efficient, practiced and coordinated response to any multi-agency emergent event.
